The last leg of our trip brought us to Shakespeare’s hometown, Stratford Upon Avon. Every day of this program had been spent exploring and experiencing incredibly significant things around England. When you are surrounded by that many incredible things sometimes it can be hard to even process that it’s in front of you. We spent …

Food Adventures
What I’ve come to find about food in London is the meals get progressively more delicious throughout the day. I’ve enjoyed some great dinners, some good lunches, and the worst breakfasts of my life. (When beans, egg, and bacon are on a plate together and beans are the best of the three, something is very …
The Victoria and Albert Museum but I still haven’t moved on from Life of Pi
If I were to recommend one thing to anyone going to London it would be to see Life of Pi on West End. This play was so beautiful with its story telling through the use of projections, life size animal puppets, and a number of other special effects. One of the most incredible moments in …

Fringe Theatre Experience
My favorite part of studying abroad in London has been all the theatre that we have watched. In the three weeks we spent here I have seen 14 plays and each of those in some element have been some of the most impressive shows I have ever seen. Life of Pi had the best use …
The Glass Menagerie Review
Like everyone else in the theatre abroad program, I was pretty underwhelmed by the Glass Menagerie, however I think I liked it more than a lot of my classmates. The play overall felt very low energy and I was very board by physical choices made by the actors. What I saw was a lot of …
Westminster Abbey
I knew nothing about Westminster Abbey before going. I knew it was supposed to be a beautiful cathedral with some buried people in it, but every cathedral we’ve seen has been beautiful and I think all of them have had people buried in them, typically old royals I’m unfamiliar with. You can imagine my surprise …
The City of Ba(hhh)th
In Fayetteville Arkansas if you want to have a cute little get away, you pack up your things and travel 2 hours away to the tourist town of eureka springs. There you eat at a diner, browse through some “let’s go Brandon” T-Shirts at a gift shop and dress up as a pioneer on the …
Ben complains about Legally Blonde even though it was kinda good.
Our day at regions park was some of the most fun I’ve had on this trip, but Legally Blonde was a little disappointing. It was my first time seeing theatre outside on a stage of that scale and it made me realize how many challenges arise with operating an outdoor venue. The Play started at 7:30 so …

A Day at the National Gallery
The National Gallery was the most traditionally beautiful art gallery I had ever seen. I personally don’t love baroque, still life, portrait style paintings but just to be in the presence of art made by names like Da Vinci, Monet, Van Gogh, and Picasso is an unreal experience. Still, I didn’t enjoy the actual art …
My Favorite Urinal pt. 2 (but now its my favorite receipt)
A piece that reminded me of The Fountain was Ceal Floyer’s, Monochrome Till Receipt. It was a grocery store receipt, of only white items. This one I didn’t look too deep into but I thought it was pretty interesting, because I’ve never seen art created this way.
